Looking for Group Benefits Broker and Sales Representative

Payday Payroll LLC., is currently seeking a Group Benefits Broker and Sales Representative . We aim to please our clients and provide them with boutique level service. This role will create result-oriented center of influence network with other broker professionals to increase revenue. Maintain relationships with clients from existing book of business to ensure a strong and lasting client relationship. Establish and maintain all prospect contact information in sales CRM (pipeline); monitor pipeline and database of qualified leads obtained through emails, direct mail, telephone interactions, referrals, cold calls or physical meetings with business owners, and management approved networking strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consult and design innovative ways with new and existing clients on health-related products and services to provide the best solutions for their health and financial well-being.
  • Develop strong relationships and collaborate closed with internal channels and product partners.
  • Develop strong partnership with cross-functional sales development to deliver effective group health and welfare solutions.
  • Extensive involvement in the client management process, from open enrollment to policy reviews and renewal preparation.
  • Give presentations to both existing and prospective customers on company’s health/benefit services while relying on sound technical selling skills, as well as on deep product knowledge to increase revenue.
  • Implement Payday practices and processes while building a relationship with client, don’t just sell account.
  • Keep an accurate and detailed record of all activities relating to customer prospecting and sales in the assigned territory or location, such as sales call, follow-up, closed sales, and presentations.
  • You leverage extensive employee benefits industry knowledge to collaborate, strategize, and lead self-funded plan design, management, implementation, and administration.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals/plans.
  • Reach out to current clients in case of negative issues or canceling of services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum five plus years of experience of inside sales with a company dedicated to Payroll (Benefits, ASO, PEO).
  • 3-5 plus years of experience in outside sales, cold calling and prospecting
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
